John Stickl

Associate Pastor

John joined the staff in 2006 and currently serves as our Associate Pastor.  John served at New Life Church in Colorado Springs in the Small Group Ministry Department before coming to VCC.  He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Buffalo in pre-law and a Masters degree from Denver Seminary.

Some little-known facts about John - he won a NCAA Lacrosse National Championship where he was an All-American defenseman. He also competed as an international lacrosse player and played for Team England in the 2002 World Championships in Perth, Australia. One of John’s favorite pastimes is ice fishing.  John is married to Colleen, a licensed counselor, and they have two children - Trey and Emma.
